Llorente suffered a broken bone in the lower arm while cycling during a family holiday in June. Initially, the club was optimistic that the former Juventus player was available against Southampton on 12 August, but manager Paul Clement finally confirmed the 32-year-old was out.
“Fernando is undergoing individual rehabilitation, he has not joined the team training,” Clement said on the club’s official website.
“Assuming everything is going well, we anticipate it in the next 10 days.I think he will not be involved in the first few games but after that he will be back soon.”

Last season, Llorente became Swansea’s top scorer with 15 goals down as the club narrowly relegated.
In addition to not be able to defend Swansea in the game against Southampton, Llorente is also likely to pass the first home game his team on August 19. On that date, Swansea hosted English Premier League champions Manchester United.
